Natural Healing Express
Natural Healing Express was founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in early 2010 by Susan Schafer, PhD. Susan began studying Natural Health and Agriculture while growing up in scenic Northwestern Illinois near Lena. With the rich, fertile soil aplenty on the farm her family has owned for four generations, and accompanied by the wisdom of her ancestors, Susan began exploration into natural remedies at an early age. Susan, taking influence from her maternal grandmother, Hazel, has learned many herbal applications as well the value of balanced nutrition.

It is the mission of Natural Healing Express to assist folks in finding the root cause of their health concerns as quickly and efficiently as possible while providing education and empowerment utilizing nutrition, Natural Health products and on most days, a sense of humor.

Natural Healing Express believes in matching healing protocols with one’s Bio-Individuality. This effort produces a specific wellness blueprint based on the client’s individual needs. At Natural Healing Express, we simply believe no single method works for all and that one’s health and healing is as unique as their fingerprint.

Natural Healing Express’s rare approach is to first identify core Bio-Individuality, most commonly through nutrient analysis, followed by co-creating a health and wellness plan designed to be effective and lasting. Bio-Individuality regards the unique composition of the individual considering many factors such as genetics, environment, situational adaptation, emotional intelligence, coping mechanisms, nutritional intake, chemistry and spiritual development. Mastering it is the client’s healing journey.

Natural Healing Express was founded in conjunction with the Natural Whole Life Institute whose mission focuses on the education, empowerment, advancement and inspiration of individuals seeking Natural Whole Life Wellness. Natural Healing Express and Natural Whole Life Institute strive to be the conduit for people wanting to educate themselves about their own healing and natural resources available.

Natural Healing Express operates its first corporate store at 204 W Main Street, in Lena, Illinois 61048 offering unique Natural Health Products and Services.

  • Institute of Integrative Nutrition/Columbia University, New York, NY: Integrative Health/Nutrition Certification
  • Clayton College of Natural Health, Birmingham, AL: Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Health

Special Certifications: 

  • First Board Certified Iridologist as recognized by IIPA (International Iridology Practitioners Association) in the State of Indiana, with specialization in Emotional Iridology. Trained and certified by world class Iridologist Alicia Rocco.
  • Certified Depression Recovery Therapist, Nedley Institute
  • Certified Total Life Therapist, specialization in Art Therapy (Paint) – Barron University.
